After you escape, GLaDOS creates a clone of you, a clone of Wheatley, a clone of everything else and then effectivly killing herself to start all over. Maybe she does that because she misses you. OdinYggd Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Sounds like they are revising the Source engine too if they're going with HL3.Most of the games that Steam made themselves use the HL2 engine- nothing more than a tweaked and lightly upgraded version of the game engine that made HL2 possible. Creating a HL3 game would allow future titles after it to take advantage of the new engine, as the current HL2 engine is starting to show its age.
