About Clkamp o tron Jr

Hello

I have perform an action group to open my clamp o tron Jr on this reservoir.

When I place my rocket on the launch pad, I can try all other action group like open light, open photovoltaic cells...etc and see them working.

When I tried the action group to open my Clamp o tron Jr, I do not see it working on the launchpad.

Questions are:

Is it normal ?

Do they open like the other Clamp o tron?

Is it well placed on my rocket to allow tranfer of fuel or RCS

There no toggle action for Clamp o tron, Is the choice "Decouple Node" correct to open it in order to dock on the station ?

Another question is: I can see "control from here" when I mouse over the clamp o tron Jr, but nothing happens when I click on it on the launch pad.

What I want is check if it is working correctly before launch.

they don't open, they don't have a shield, so yes you don't actually see them "working"

and yes, if you click "control from here" and the docking port is already aligned with the root command pod/probe core, nothing will happen as well.

The docking ports don't do anything, until you dock.

If you connect 2 together in the VAB, then the Decouple Node option becomes available, allowing you to undock them. If you dock in orbit, the option is undock.

There are 2 docking ports that can "open". The shielded docking port and the inline docking port. The other 2 are just exposed.

I personally prefer the exposed ones, because I don't need to open them when I go in to dock.

You confirm the Clamp o Tron Jr is an exposed docking port and need not to open?

And wherever is placed the dock on the tank, even at the top like on my photo, can I transfer Fuel or RCS?

Yes. You need to dock with a port of the same size however. Make sure your ships have matching ports on them or you won't be able to dock Or transfer fuels.

Once you dock, simply right click on the tank you want to fill, then hold ALT and right click on the tank you want to fill From. Press "IN" on the empty tank for the resource you want to transfer

Not 100% right, you can also use a docking port as decoupler. Works with only 1 docking port.
