That Moment When....

That moment when you accidentally type in 900 instead of 90 into mechjeb and your rocket starts flipping around and exploding.

That moment when you get a heavy duty mun base on the mun, and you forget to bring solar panels with you.

That moment when you don't know what the button is to activate the EVA pack as Jebediah goes flying off towards the sun.

That moment when your mouse dies while you're trying to configure MechJeb

That moment when you chuck a hundred hitchhiker tanks full of kerbals at your ship to try to lower your periapsis to get pulled in by kerbin.

That moment when you just realized that you made a 1km orbit around the moon with your kethane miner and that you can't time accelerate.

That moment when you spy on the kraken and see it's actually a little boy that's barely 4 years old using Hyperedit on everybody's save files.

That moment when you build a massive, awesome spaceplane with B9 Aerospace and realize that you used fuselages instead of fuel tanks.

That moment when you think you've manually cleared your parts folder of all modded items and you find the only part in the game is the fugly Mk. 3 cockpit. (Seriously, how do you make that thing look good without editing its model?)

That moment when the kraken turns Jebediah into Michael Jackson and Kerbin explodes in a firey rain of rainbow krakens.

...you attempt to deorbit an upper stage from an altitude of 370+ km after deploying a payload, only to realize the only batteries for powering MechJeb you had on your rocket were the ones on the now-separated payload.

That moment when...

You hit the launch button on your joystick...

You see the first tenth of a second of flight as the SRBs ignite in a blaze of solid-fueled glory...

And suddenly, your crap PC decides to bluescreen all over the floor...

And you wonder... "If my computer bluescreened... WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING ON KERBIN?!?!?!??!?!?"

You decide that a zombie apocalypse must have overtaken Kerbin and killed your computer somehow...

And you finally come to the conclusion that the only solution is... MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR BOOSTERS!!! :D

Story of my life when I first got this game, back in the days of the 0.13 demo

The moment you press F5 instead of F9.
That moment when you make a mistake and go to reload but in your panicked state you press the save key instead.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate that!

I almost doomed my Moho mission because of a quicksave mistake, and a warping error. This prompted me to learn save file editing. Popped them back at apoapsis, and although I was still on a sub orbital path, I had enough time to devise a safe way to land the lander.

...you forget to point your RemoteTech probe's satellite at mission control as it coasts out of range on a collision course with Minmus.

...you run out of fuel circularizing, and the burn time estimation at apoapsis didn't account for the successive stage's low TWR, leaving your kerbals to re-unite with their beloved homeworld sitting atop a volatile tank of fuel.

That feeling when you realize ion engines are too annoying to put on an awesome looking cruiser.

And when you realize you can't build a flyable aircraft to save Jeb's life (at least not for a while anyway).

Speaking of.

That time you discover you put the landing gear for an aircraft attached to a canard or similar fully-mobile wing surface. That one is fun. Particularly because you may well try fixing different things 3 or 4 times before realizing its those bloody canards dancing the wheels around that's causing it.

And of course, there's that time when you get your mega-aircraft out and about. And then one side flames out a milisecond before the other and you enter an unrecoverable horizontal spin of death.

Oh, and lets not forget the time we all tried to put wings on a Jumbo 64.
