LazarusLuan Posted August 22, 2014 Author Share Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) Can we see preview screenies of the new historical or heavy lift stuff?Sure - I'm still working on the diffuse and normal maps because I keep adding more windows to the Mars Colonial Transporter but I'll post a screenshot of what should be the "final" version. The new cargo capsule looks almost exactly like the current version, except without windows, reconfigured RCS ports and with a working top hatch. The 4 round plates located around the perimeter of the center of the capsule are gone as well, since it doesn't use any engines other than its RCS. Opinions?Personal opinion. I'd rather it not. It does make sense in a KSP gameplay sort of way...but not in a realistic way. I know not everybody thinks as I do. I would accept it though, if the exterior looked realistic and the only change is a set of 'hidden doors', which it kind of looks like from the one screen, but obviously haven't seen the whole thing.
