Had to uninstall....crashes hard. was so stoked I'm a big SpaceX fan

yea...your still lookin at the better part of 1gig per pack for these atm (700-800mb ish). Also legacy install for some reason. I have asked a couple times, here and in PM about install method. Only response I get is 'It has mechjeb 1 &2' so not sure...maybe its to maintain compatibility with MJ1??

Khaos it seams to be this is the only mod that is crashing my game every thing else if running fine. i do notice a little frame lag in space when i get close to my space station. i have a lot of fustek parts so its eating a lot of memory. i did get thins mod to install and built a rocket. put the KBBP dragon on top and as soon as i told it to take it to the launch pad it crashes the game to desk top. thats if i use the Heavy launch pack i cant get the other one to load at at all it gets to the section on the load par were it starts loading the LazTek items and crashes to desk top. my MJ 1 and 2 work great with every thing so far...

Hey Lazarus, where are you? Could really use the smaller textures(could you also convert them to .tga to optimize memory usage)

Afaik it's png textures that don't have the memory bug. tga's are meant to be well optimized, but there is something wrong with the way the current version of ksp/unity handles them (don't take my word on it though if you have a good source, I can't remember the threads it was discussed in so I'm working mostly from memory and what I've seen in my ksp folder lately)

... and now Bjorklund has pulled the plug on KerbX these are the only surviving Falcon mods. He won't release any of his original materials for others to carry on his work so Laz is our only hope. (Cue Princess Leia scene)

What!?!?!? What happened???

This has to be one of the coolest mods i have seen. I'm so loving Space X right now and would love to fly this around. Love the detail in the reusable system. Hope it gets updated with .21 when its out.

That's what I was saying when .20 came about... now we have .21 and well.... (holding breath)

Kerbal has really pushed me into the realm of rocket enthusiast. Space X is now the only thing i think about. I'll surely be watching their progress from now on. When i stumbled upon this thread last night i went crazy. The videos are amazing. The work you put into making it reusable, even if its not 100% how it will be, is just awesome and inspiring. I hope you have time to update this wonderful add-on that you have so obviously put so much work into already.

Thank you! I decided to wait until the .21 update hit before updating the SpaceX launch packs and am I glad I did after seeing the extensive changes made to certain key components. I have new versions of the SpaceX packs in testing right now for release in the next day or so, and used the time waiting for the .21 update to create the parts that complete my SpaceX set:

Definetly, will you have a low-Rez version of the new parts/old parts?

also the new mechjeb is borked in .21 so just put the SAS option up first.

I'm putting up high performance low rez versions and have pulled out all the MechJeb parts in favor of the new ASAS/reaction wheel system. The latest update of MechJeb posted yesterday works perfectly with my new parts using the little MechJeb remote boxes attached to the different sections, so there is no longer any need to build in MechJeb functionality.

Thank you - I'm also considering dropping the 3.75m version of the pack since the 2.5m version seems to have the correct dimensions for the Kerbal universe (I also need room to expand for the creation of the super heavy lifting Falcon X series). I'm interested in others' thoughts about this.

Quick question, is the OP download links the low res versions? I have yet to actually fly this pack, due to just to much memory footprint. And its kinda been a regret, this pack looks wonderful, and the closest thing to true reusability in sandbox KSP.

As for the 3.75 version..thats the one I've had my eyes on. I dont use to many mods that are stock sized parts, I find the stock stuff fit for purpose 99.9% of the time (allbeit not as good lookin as this pack or some other). I especial like the 3.75 nosecone that can reclose, best thing in all of KSP for multiple probe deployment Id imagine.

In addition to the Dragon 2 mod, I also have a Red Dragon version ready as well... aiming to have everything up before the weekend!
