Are you going to start a fresh save file come 0.20?

Recommended Posts

yeah, I'll make a fresh install and play it without mods in the beginning. but i'll keep 19.1 installed as well (i have all versions installed from 0.16) so I can still play my current save. And starting from scratch is fun :P

I'll definitely start from scratch, as mods will break my save for sure.

I'll try to keep my new save more organized and install less mods. Maybe I'll go "hardcore mode" with FAR, deadly re-entry and life support mod.

i always start a new save. usually because i dump all the mods and wait for them to be updated. this also give me a chance to play stock for a few days before piling on the mods.

I usually start a new Save for every Update, but i make a complete Back Up of my save, Screenshot and (if apropriate) any used mods, so i can reuse my Crafts/return to older Version if needed

Also I like the feeling of the "new" version, one that is not messed up with ridiculousness XD

Same.

I inevitably regret building ships with some mods, but can't be bothered removing them from my game.

I usually just copy proven craft files across to get myself up and running again.

I generally regard each version as a practice-run.

Nah. I have a bunch of saves starting from the beginning of 0.18 and I'm not letting them go to waste. One of them is actually very empty so come 0.20 I plan to populate the save with probes and start building up that knowledge base. Unless the knowledge base was supposed to come out with resources, in which case send the probes anyway!

I probably will so I can see what's changed without the mods getting in the way. But I will most probably put most of my mods back on again because I cant live without some of them. I only actually use around 15 mods anyway.

Can someone provide me with the official Patch notes?

So far I only find small notes, but not the official notes about the next patch, and in the "Announcements" its more like GET READY GUYS FOR PATCH 0.20.

b2t: I dont think I will start again, as I cant think of a reason that would make me restart my ComSat Satellites and my single-part Space station around Kerbal =)

I'll restart if the new version requires it but not unless. I'm just getting a good toehold in LKO and on the moons of Kerbin so I'm in no hurry to obliterate all that and start over.

Yeah, I will. I haven't really done anything in my current saves (I haven't even left Kerbin SOI), and it'll be nice to restart with some knowledge and design plans under my belt. I'll probably convert some .crafts though, just for fun and nostalgia.

http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Planned_features

parts written in blue are planned for the next update.

seems like its really not that big of an update. seats are the only new addition, and the rest are useability features (which are very awesome and needed) oh and flags.... which dont excite me that much, although ill grant that thats a personal opinion, i can see where other people are excited for it.

maybe the wiki hasnt been updated?
