Think again about leaving kerbals stranded

Kerbals are never stranded. Merely awaiting a rescue, however forlorn a hope.

Jeb in my sandbox save is stuck on Eve, on an island, at sea level. He isn't coming back any time soon, but he will be back as soon as I figure out how.

In my career save, nobody is stuck anywhere. Jeb and Bill are orbiting Duna with no fuel, but they're just awaiting their interplanetary stage rendezvousing with them and taking them back to Kerbin. And I have a 'rescue' mission in kerbin orbit awaiting a launch window to send out more fuel and a station to make sure they get there, and to equip them with the ability to get back down.

.23 has complicated that somewhat, however, as I can economise on mass hauled back to kerbin by not taking the entire lander back.
