Discuss the new Map Filter

The (alpha - I hope so:)) Map Filter is pretty good, and here's my wish list:

•Ability to separately show/hide the marks and trajectories. So I can only hide the messy trajectories and leave the marks showing.

•Able to classify the ships by the celestial bodies they orbit.

So what's your opinion?

Love it, especially the debris clear up, saves so much time.

Sort by planet would be a cool feature indeed.

Sorting by planet would indeed be nice, and I like the idea of hiding the trajectory lines. My Voyager-style probe's line was getting in the way while it was still in Kerbin's SoI.

I find it very useful, and I want to share two facts about it that some fellow player might not know yet :

- left-clicking a category icon will apply only the corresponding filter and disable all the others, whereas right-clicking will add/remove this filter without altering the state of the other ones;

- the filters are available in map-view and not only in the tracking station : simply move the mouse cursor to the top of the screen and the icons will show up.

It is a very good feature! I've been able to disable all categories, zoom to the planet I want to intersect, and enable filters again. This has allowed me to plan intercepts with much more clarity and acuracy
