Stuck in translation mode!

I don't know what I presed, but some yellow text popped up that I didn't get a chance to read, and now I can't switch back to rotation mode for docking. Every time I hit spacebar, the selector clicks over and then immediately back again. I'm now stuck in the middle of a docking rendezvous maneuver I can't complete. help?

You could dock in staging mode and use the i,j,k,l,h,n keys to complete your docking. I personally find this easier. After that try restarting the game and/or changing your controls.

Have you tried the mode buttons in the lower left corner of the screen? They are: staging, docking, map view.

Try what Blipser said, if that doesn't work then you might have to post the debug log or something (it should say what is happening), for now have this '

haha, yeah the reason I haven't restarted the game is I'm kinda zooming toward the station now with another piece of the station, and I don't want to fire it back up and be either clipped into the now exploding station, or a million miles away with no engine and only 20u of RCS fuel. I completed the docking using the above (didn't know about the h and n keys which is why I havent done it that way before). my log file is... 64 MB. What part should I be looking for exactly? haha.

There are two different modes in the Docking Mode. To switch them, tap the space bar 3 times in a row (I think its 3).

It's double-tap spacebar to switch between toggling between rotation/translation and having translation made default and needing to hold spacebar down to rotate. This should really be in the key bindings wiki.

Wow, I never knew that was even a function. I might do that next time instead of dual controls on staging.
