Indeed it is! Perhaps it has something to do with the whole jolly stereotype gubbins. Or the fact that no one's idea of a jolly good time is a rebar wielding cyborg. I say, Would you like a cup of tea sir?

Ah, I remember when I was the champion at the good 'ol sport of Fencing. The French have very peculiar sports indeed.

(BTW, I really did take fencing. You learn to love the taste of water after a while)

As canny good as yee are trying, yee aal fail te realise tha ne-one in Britain speaks leik they're frem the fifties, an not aal Brits hev a southern accent. Ah mesel am a Geordie frem The Toon an there is nothin betta than confusing horf the world wi me accent. Dyer knaa what Ah mean? Probably not. :P

Actually, Geordie is a direct continuation of the Anglo-Saxon settlers of the region. My accent is therefore older than modern English, however if you would like, I could speak in Shakespeare's language if you prefer.
