Is KSP your most played game?

KSP isn't nearly my most played game, that would be Eve Online with 3,697 (you read right) hours according to xfire, and there is more than a year missing in this number. Second place is Skyrim with 774 hours, followed by Bad Company 2 with 380 hours (xfire). Civilization 4 BtS comes in fourth with 277 hours (all these nights...), followed by 261 hours spent in ParaWorld. And only then, at rank 6, KSP appears with 219 hours sunk into it. Would probably be a bit more without my expansion-induced apathy.

Not even close. I've got 1,000 hours in Guild Wars 2 alone. I've run through Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic, Skyrim, etc. far to many times for KSP to be able to compete at this point. Maybe someday, if it stays fresh with new content and mods.

I found and bought this game in early May...I've been gaming for years, and already my play time on this has far surpassed all my others lol except WoW and Skyrim.

The joy I had when I found this game is unexplainable, I had been searching for a space game like this for YEARS...your own program, designs, missions, etc...I had always wanted this kind of game.

I was extremely pissed with the new Sim City, having been a Sim City fan since the first one, but now I'm glad it was so bad because a topic on its forums bashing EA and praising good games from small developers had this posted in it.

Skyrim #1, KSP rising fast. The real #1 of all time was probably City of Heroes, but not Steam, and no longer exists. :( LONG ago, I did a scan of my characters, trying to figure out how long I'd played that game... In the first Six months, I spent about a QUARTER OF MY LIFE playing it (then time for work and sleep on top of that)... I continued to play the game regularly for over 6 years... so KSP has some catching up to do. :)

Nope. KSP will probably never catch up to the time I put into Minecraft because I still occasionally put in time on the company server. It may eventually surpass all the time I spent playing Morrowind, but I've got a kid now so that's a tall order.

KSP is probably third for me, but I cannot be sure because I do not I have KSP on Steam. I can't get myself to transfer it over, due to some issues I've had with Valve.

My top 3 Games are

Garry's Mod (1440 Hours)

Forza Motorsport 4 (500+)(Console)

Kerbal Space Program( I'm sure its closing in on Forza)

I spent a lot more time before Steam than after Steam. I've only got about fifty hours recorded on Steam for KSP (a far cry from my most played game, Garry's Mod, with 800 hours played) but I'm sure I've got several hundred hours that I played before Steam implementation.

Of my Steam games, Civilization V is far ahead #1 at 252 hours, then Mount & Blade Warband at 192 hours, and Victoria 2 at 154 hours. KSP is at 113 hours, so probably fourth. Although I have some of my most-played games off Steam, like the Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, Sim City series and the earlier Civilizations – some old games like Civ II, Sim City 2000, or Frontier Elite 2 would have many hundreds of hours as well.

Recently KSP is by-and-large my most played game. However I was quite surprised to find out that it's still a good 50 hours short of Fallout:New Vegas (232 and 290 respectively). Mind you, I've had FO:NV since its release and still play it every now and again. KSP on the other hand, I've only had for two-three months on Steam (had the demo since .16 and played .18 and .19 on a rig my buddy lent me while he was in Europe for a few months). Looking back though, I don't think it even comes close to some of my old favorites, such as SimCity 4 (and 3000) and Civ 4.

As far as steam games go, I have 106 hours in CS:S and 84 hours in CS:GO, followed by KSP at 57 hours. Ive only been playing KSP for a month or two though, so I suspect it will be up at number one eventually.

Outside of steam, I know Ive put hundreds of hours into Minecraft since I started playing it back in Beta 1.2, and 100+ hours in a couple old playstation/playstion2 games. Ive played through Persona 3 a few times, and thats 80+ hours each time. Ive played trough Final fantasy VII many, many times. At one point I put an ungodly amount of time into Grand Turismo 4...

It's not my "most played" game (that I still have / play) yet but I'm working on it :D. At least PC wise my most played game according to Steam is Dead Island coming in at 177 hours followed by Farming Simulator 2013 at 96 hours, 3 more then KSP coming in at just over 70 hours played but I've only had it a few months. It's definitely one of my two most played games right now, the other being Gran Turismo 5.

Sadly KSP probably won't ever be my most played game of all time, that dubious honour is currently held by EverQuest which is well up in the thousands of hours range and possibly close to 10k hours given how long I played it for :).

Warcraft III (not the original RTS, just maps), racking up 250+ playing hours in a span of 1 and a half year.

Minecraft will be the next one, even if I'm not playing it anymore for a year now. Racked up estimated 200+ hours playing it in a span of just 2-3 months followed by a year of intermittent gaming, and there was even a day where I've played minecraft 13 hours straight in one day during my peak of minecraft playing life.
