Hey Giiggle, loving your rockets, but whilst everyone around these parts seems to go for MOAR BIGGERER, these go the opposite way.. Why are you using the smaller parts?

I guess I wanted to be unique. I also love the challenge of working with even less parts than everyone else.

Giggleplex, I must say: I love small craft. I LOVE small craft. Here's my take on Orion, but with reusability intended, thus the docking ports above and below. U5EtTfT.png

Edit: This was taken on my Sandy Bridge Pentium laptop, thus low settings.

For that Shuttle design that keeps on failing, try moving the 3 engine cluster farther from the CoM. That way while you use the force being exerted on the CoM as well as the torque of the engines in order to keep it flying straight.

Engines don't have roll control, yet.

Have tried putting it on top of the Ares I? I've been trying to make an Ares V for a while now but it just can't seem to lift enough to orbit.

Ariane is ready so I might release it on Thursday if I have time.

I'm back and I'm working on the Kliper!

I like the clustered radial engines. You have discovered a new way to make engine clustering look good!

But is it efficient enough? Those engines have terrible isp

I'm switching focus to Zepto Labs for a few days now.

Does anyone want to request a new rocket (something in real life, preferably)?

Black Arrow? It's simple, but might be fun to see if that has any lifting capability in KSP.

They're not very efficient, but they are the only engines that could do the job. I just ended up slapping a lot of fuel to the first stage.

I'll try that. :)
