spotted a strange spot of light on kerbin's surface, from orbit

i don't know if someone have seen something like that before, but i found it particulary weird :) the light seems to be on water, in the north hemisphere of kerbin (i started my G-turn with a 50° heading, circularized at 100k, an stumbled upon this, seen from orbit : - and it's not on the pole, we clearly see the ice shelfs on the horizon :) - my only mods : Protractor, subassembly loader and engineer redux.

(note, the small white dots under the large white spot is the space station i tried to launch this time :P)

another image, from another angle (taken from my station's launcher second stage, which was on suborbital trajectory

The spot seemed to follow my second stage, and appears to be projected onto the sea bed (i couldn't see it while it crossed the island) - and is visible in daylight.

here's a pic after the second stage's splashdown :

well, if it's a reflexion of the sun, the specular highlights are a bit bugged then :P because on the first picture, the sun was still way below the horizon :P
It's a bug. I got that reflection while the sun was on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE PLANET than where I was!

I have seen this specular Highlights quite a lot, they get projected on the underside of the waters surface from the sun on the other side of the planet and can be seen then on the dark side, they appear usually before you reach the terminator and mark the direct line of sight to the sun until it rises over the horizon

it is kinda buggy, yes^^
