IVA mode manuever node retrograde?

Hey all, I was just coming up to dock around the Mun in my new lander (which worked great by the way), when I saw this...

On the other side it was this:

Has anyone else found this, is this known, or am I making some great new discovery for KerbalKind?

No, It's not a new discovery. Someone has found it previously.

It's a retrograde marker for your Maneuver Node. (points opposite the direction of your maneuver)

I'm not sure, but I think a dev commented on it and said it was forgotten because of priorities or something... don't quote me on that, though.

It was added in 20.1 or 20.2. Only shows up on the IVA version of the navball, though, not the one on the main screen.
