Resurecting Dead Kerbals

So, today Jeb died due to a freak clipping error. Since this really doesn't count as a proper death, I'd really like to bring him back to life, but I don't know what I should be changing in my persistence file. Thanks!

To bring him back, find his code in your persistence file and look at the line titled "State". His should be "3", which means "dead". So to resurrect him you have to change the "3" to a "0".

I can't He's destined for a glorious death on Tylo and my launch window is coming up. (Actually, I'm planning on dropping a kethane refinery, with the lander, so it shouldn't be a suicide mission.) Also, my bodycount has been a nice clean zero so far, and in principle I'd like to keep the slate clean becasue OCD. Ehe.

Use the "Open With" function after right clicking on the file, and select Notepad.

Just use notepad or some other text editor. Guaranteed to work!

Tonybee idea: Resurect dead Kerbals in orbit of planet Jool.

Actually, its a lot easier to just use a text editor (notepad, word, textedit ofr macs) to resurect them to show up and be available for the next mission - than to do text editing to place them in orbit of Jool.
