  1. @nestor @Maxsimal What about fuel lines? Can we add those on after the fact? Thinking about a hardcore playthrough that obeys transfer rules and ship building in orbit
  2. I created a shuttle today that can carry a full 2m orange tank and full 2m half grey tank into a 300km orbit and dock with a station to drop off the fuel. You lose about 400m/s of delta V on final booster separation due to the balancing issues. I am still working on figuring it out, but it isn't that big of a deal. By using all the fuel (including the payload), it can make it to Low Mun Orbit. It costs a total of 550,000 dollars to launch and all the boosters are recoverable.

  4. Im pretty sure there is no launcher like Skyrim. Im only using Steam.
  5. There needs to be a way to boost your transmission signal strength. Like remotetech. Every comms unit on any ship can be used to boost the signal of any transmission getting it to almost 100% science. It would encourage people to place sats around planets. Also, i think that you should be able to transfer data to another ship with a Data Storage Unit when you dock or transmit it and then they can take it back to land on Kerbin. The amount of data loss should be based on distance from transmission target. Say i have a probe at Jool. but it cant get back. So i transfer the data to a manned ship around Duna and i would only get like 65% of the data. then the Duna ship would take it back to Kerbin. If i have a Sat around Eve and Duna and Jool are on opposite ends of the solar system, it would boost the signal making me lose a little less science. It would give the game more depth.
  6. I was watching some vids and when they would intercept like the Mun, the predicted peri is at the current location of the body. When i do it, it is where i will intercept it. I want to be able to focus on the mun in the map and change the peri with ease. Any ideas?
  7. because of the R&D system, i have been doing estimations in my head and on my way back from Duna and Minmus i had about 5-10 units of fuel left.
  8. I got to nuke engines in 3 flights. NOTE: These points are not exact and they include crew reports ect. 1: Gather surface sample on/around pad 20 science. 2: Minmus Landing 500 science 3: Duna Flyby 1000 science. I think the prices should be higher.
  9. I was trying to save on weight and also they are not available in tier 2 of the tech tree.
  10. not really. Look up EJ_SA on twitch. And check this out. http://imgur.com/a/OVkzv http://imgur.com/a/Vej6T This one is actual doors. http://imgur.com/a/dXoIP
  11. First off i want to say I am sorry for not taking screenshots of everything. I ended forgetting because i was worried about fuel. I was right to be worried. I used the side mono tanks as Goo stand-ins. I can get a Goo around the mun and get a Goo around minmus and get a surface sample. Even though i ended with 0 units of fuel, i had to do a plane change to go to the mun. Sorry for my bad flying. If i redo it, i could end up with most likely 25-50 units of fuel left. I used the oberth effect to set up my transfer to minmus from the mun and from minmus to Kerbin impact. I would most likely get 100+ science on my second mission. What do you guys think? 12. So I am not a programmer by any means, but seriously, how hard would it be to take mods and stick them right into the base game if they are good enough. Like the Procedural Wings mod, KAS and many others. If there is a problem, can someone explain it to me please.
  13. It is not normal. It only broke the saves because the terrain height changes would eat anything that is landed. Also the new crew management also broke the ships i think, because the crew system is different.
  14. He is under NDA agreement. He could get sued for showing us .21 and everything. Including files I think.
  15. So is anyone else just building and doing R@D instead of doing missions? Im doing it because saves will probably not work with .21 and I dont want to lose big missions. Also has anyone considered the possibility that .21 will be released July 20 for Apollo 11's 44th anniversary?
  16. Congratulations to Squad and the community!!
  17. Also why would we want to spend hours doing something that is impossible.
