Lately, I have been wandering into the dangerous land of 300+ part counts

3,900 parts. 168 rocket motors, in 8 clusters of 21 motors each. Launches at 1 frame per second. From liftoff to fuel out takes one hour twenty minutes.

Looks like you removed a lot of struts from that design since I've last checked your thread, Whackjob. Good work on optimizing it.

I swear you must really hate your CPU the way you play KSP, it's hilarious.

Any reasons for you to have Subassembly Loader and Subassembly Manager at the same time?

Strangely, I had Subassembly Loader in the old Plugins folder, and the new one in the GameData folder. Fixed it!

Also, Whackjob, that is insane. Insane insanity. Repetitive redundancy?

This looks totally insane. XD And i was proud on my 1000+ Designs and they had already difficulties to start cause of fps drops. I do not think that i would be able to start that one.

Its a very good start and a very nice and classy design. ;)

You will see that the huge part ships open whole new possibilities of designs but also can be very frustrating.
