How long has that been there?

So I was playing KSP just before and was randomly attaching parts to other parts in the VAB (as you do) when I suddenly noticed the Rockomax "Skipper" Liquid Engine for the very first time, I was quite amazed I'd never noticed it before.

So I thought I'd ask:

What parts have you never noticed before, or took a while to realise existed?

The inline clampotron, and the radial attachment point.

It was added in 0.20, it was part of the KSPX parts expansion by ClairaLyrae, now a developer. It was then called "Atlas".

Yeah, the fact that it's called differently always throws me off. "Oh come on, where's the stupid Atlas engine! .... Oh, it's this one with a different name. Right."

I feel your pain, I always forget that the Probodobodyne RoveMate exists, and it always surprises me in the VAB/SPH

When 0.20 came out, I didn't realize that the Skipper and Sr. docking port existed until I saw it here on the forums.

I discovered the PB-ION Electric Propulsion System when I was mouse-hovering over every item in the menu. For some reason it was in the "utilities" section rather than the "propulsion" section. I mean, "Propulsion System" is in the name...

Although I have yet to check it out, I keep seeing this large cargo bay (the wide one in B9 aerospace) in the pics here. Somehow never noticed it. Should make designing a better cargo SSTO a damn-sight easier...
