Skylab Space Station with Atlas V (542) Rocket - What about Saturn?

Recommended Posts

Skylab Space Station with Atlas V - Saturn 5 is overrated!

This is the replica of two things at once: The Skylab Spacestation and the Atlas V Launch Vehicle, with a fairing of the large type (5), 4 solid fuel boosters and 2 engines at the upper stage, so it's a really huge version of the Atlas V Rocket. The Skylab Station is a bit small side, but otherwise the proportions wouldn't be right. If you want a Spaceship at the Station, I would recommend the Kerbal Launch System Block 0. You can Also use an Atlas V 551 for an orbit up to 100 km.

Ascent Path:

Orbit height: 70-80 km

Start altitude: 7,5 km

Turn into end altitude: 60 km

Turn shape: 50%

I do recommend to use the MechJeb plugin because this is really the smallest rocket to put this Payload into orbit.
