What size parts are these meant for? From a mod perhaps? It seems they don't fit anything standard. The wings that mount to tanks are too big for most, and too small for the latest super large parts.

Just turn on part clipping. If it fits, it fits. If it doesn't...well you could leave it but it wouldn't look pretty.

That said I'm pretty sure these need to be tweaked so they have an associated tech in the tree. They won't show-up in career mode.

Tweaking the configs is easy enough, I even thought to do this to correct the visual mounting problem...but that would make the entire part smaller.

It's not that they don't mount. They mount fine, it's that the base on the models don't match any of the vanilla diameters. They have a cup that is meant to wrap around a cylindrical object. the problem is that cupped area doesn't match any of the 3, well now 4, vanilla sizes. So you're left with these wings sticking out from the base of them on everything but the largest parts and on the largest parts they clip inside. It would have been better not to have the cupped areas at all so that all the housings would be universal to all diameters..although strapping these to probe size equipment might be excessive. The point is, are they meant for a different mod pack, as they don't fit anything in vanilla.
