I want to send kerbals to Eeloo and back. Farthest I've been is Duna. I'm skipping all other planets. I.figure if I can perform this mission then I can do anything in KSP.

All planets provide different challenges. If you've done Tylo, Eve and Moho including return trips you are closer to having mastered everything.

I've gone beserk (for me anyway, not much of a mod person) with the mods, B9, Firespitter, Subassembly, Carrier mod, and maybe quantum struts, KAS, and airships. I haven't done much with the mods, but it will be a good feeling not to have 1/2 zillion pages in the structural tab when 0.21 comes out.

Did that make any sense?

EDIT: I'm pretty much doing nothing but waiting.

I have Bill in a Kethane miner working over the deposits on Bop; in 5 mining loads of 4000 kethane each, he's been able to completely refuel the interplanetary stage, complete with refueling the lander each time he goes back for another load. The 6th load just finished topping everything off with a few hundred Kethane to spare, so next load will just be grabbing Kethane.

A second and third interplanetary stage are en route to Jool in the mean time. Each interplanetary stage can be directly controlled as well, and the second and third ones can carry 4000 units of Kethane each.

I'm torn between stopping now, or getting 12000 units of Kethane safely back to LKO from Jool. I could have just mined Minmus instead, but I wanted the fun challenge of doing this out at Jool while using the ioncross crew resources plugin. Bill uses up a few oxygen a day and will die if he runs out; since fuel is something I can make from Kethane and oxygen isn't, it made for a fun ship design challenge and the additional transfer stages are bringing more oxygen.

Me, before .21 comes out, I'm gonna backup what I have, the entire KSP folder. That way, just in case I'll have everything I've already done and a way to play it. Though in a way, it will be nice to start out fresh, to start over knowing what I already know.

I, like some others, was staying away from mods but slowly I've warmed up. So far only subassembly, kerbal cam and kethane. Right now I've got a relatively small fuel station in Munar orbit with two smaller kethane miners (2000 kethane each). I can't have both of them docked to the fuel station at the same time or the lag gets horrendous. So I have to land one, launch another to empty its contents, then land it again. Today I didn't realize that I landed the 2nd miner with in about 6km of the 1st miner. So now I'm honing my Munar piloting skills by trying to fly one of the miners over to the other for a photo op. Currently both miners and the station are all remotely operated.

Don't know. I'll probably continue with 0.19 and 0.20 for a while, finishing of missions I've got going before 0.21 becomes my main game.

I've got nine kerbals to rescue-return, one probe based tour of the Jool system to complete, and a rover to land on Eeloo.

Don't waste your time going to Minmus. It's very easy, the body isn't very appealing to the eye and landing on the Mun is much harder with regards to propellant requirement.

I haven't gone back to Minmus in months because last time I was there, I took one look and went, "Gross. This thing looks awful. I flew all this way for that?"

I disagree, Minmus is quite lovely. I like to visit every now and then, though it's not quite as convenient as the Mun.

Traveling from Mun to Minmus is a good way to practice hohman transfers.

Play Civ V: Brave New World.

...what? I deleted my save earlier on (too much minute iterations on my design; I went clean-slate + saved my .craft files in my "Hall of Fame"), and hadn't relaunched the game since the new ASAS/save-break was announced, so I can wait whilst standing the test of time one more turn.
