Spaceport is a complete cluster f**k of mods, there is gems hiding in there if you dig through it. As for the rating system.....meh and the tagging system is also garbage, I mean why is a craft file of a Mun lander tagged as every possible thing there is?

Its the only thing letting this game down.

Why wouldn't you be able to? The number of stars is the average rating received. If only 1 person rated it and gave it 5 stars, guess what its rating would be.... that's right, 5 stars! I don't understand your confusion.

spaceport is a great concept with bad execution. There is so much garbage on there it is almost unusable. There needs to be a better classification system and a way for people to vote up/down things on there.

instead of keywords they should only have a drop-down category list. You get to Choose ONE.

Ahhh I see, I thought it was based on how many time it was downloaded. And it gets rated by the number of dl, never thought the creator could "vote" thanks for the clarity.

It should be weighted by number of downloads, percent of downloaders giving a rating and the rating average. If a thousand people download it but only 5 rate it even at 5 stars maybe it was because its not worth the hassle to even rate or if just one guy downloads it and it gets a 5 it should still be buried on page 3 behind the "only gets 3 stars" things like Alarm Clock or Engineer.

Spaceport is by far the worst mess this game has.

Actually, if you aren't logged in to the spaceport, you see an outdated download count. Actually, a lot of things are weird if you're not logged in. Try logging in, you might see that the thing you're looking at actually has a different picture, 150 downloads and 20 ratings. Spaceport is bugged, but they're working on a new version.

Why not both? Some things are best left as categories, because they logically exclude other things, while tags can also be useful.
