What do you guys do with your large files?

As the title says, what do you guys with large files, weather it be video's or mods. What do you guys do with them so they don't waste space on your pc?

or what ever methods you use! Share them!

I do not worry about wasted space, still got 3TBs to go. although I wish they would download faster! Slow internet!

Haha, Hell no too slow, too expensive. I'd burn up the cost of my own storage space every month in excess traffic charges.

Not worth the trouble. Most videos are already compressed, most other files don't compress enough to be worth the trouble.

Buy a new HD. I only have a pretty small amount of space compared to many, about 4.5 terabytes.

I got 500 GB in my desktop, 500GB in my laptop (and used to have those synchronised, but not anymore), and 6TB in a dedicated (power-efficient) storage server.

I got 200 GB so I'm fine. I just leave them there, videos and downloads.

Sometimes, when I feel like it, I delete old useless downloads and videos.

My laptop has a 128GB SSD (I didn't even want the SSD) so I have to compress it using the NTFS tool.

You know, Right click -> Properties -> Attributes, Advanced -> Compress contents to save space

Using this method I can have them compressed while still being able to use them.

Just buy more hard drives when you run out of space. They're seriously cheap now, and just buying another terabyte one whenever the last one fills up is completely viable. That's how I've fitted just over three gigabytes, and not deleted a single significant file in years.

Got a new computer, so not too many overly large files taking up space... But depending on what I need the files for I'll either delete them or zip them up with other useless stuff.

Well I have a 3TB Toshiba external drive that I got from the last Black Friday sales at new egg. I keep just about all files that I feel are keep worthy. The rest of the stuff, I delete. I also record lots of raw video, which I also delete once I finish using it in Sony Vegas. I keep all my final renders though.

On top of that, it doesn't include the internal 500GB HD and the 60GB SSD. The SSD is only used for the OS and certain programs though.

I have a 1TB drive for my libraries folders (music, documents, videos, and pictures) and a 500GB drive for programs (games, and other stuff), OS is on its own 128GB SSD.

what i do is get every file i don't need or use ,and put it in a single folder then zip then place that zip file in a folder as an archive of my desktop.
