A fun, not-so-serious suggestion

What if we could fail the game (or lose serious credits in career mode) by launching a rocket up high, decoupling for example the solid rocket boosters and having them accidentally land on a building of the space center? That would kinda force us to use parachutes or be careful :B

Actually... In career mode once we get it I think we should get penalized for destroying or dropping something large at high speeds on a KSC building... That would mean we would have to be a little bit more careful with construction designs and launches.

I say launched because we would have to angle over into the ocean to be safe about it that way if it were to blow up it would all fall into the ocean... I kinda like this idea.

Yes anything dropped would be deleted after 2.5 km away BUT... What if your rocket exploded just above the pad... Around for example 10 seconds after lift off? A srb could very easily fly off in any given direction and strike the VAB or water tower or any other nearby buildings.

I resemble that remark.

There is also Romfarer's 'Lazor System' mod, which allows you to up the draw distance to either 22.5km or 92.5km(?)
