Rocket Question

I remember when I used to play this if you stacked 2 rockets together and an engine underneath one would use up it's fuel then the other. I tried this yesterday with the 2 large orange rockets to get maximum fuel but after the first one was used up nothing happened?

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a decoupler between them? Fuel won't flow through a decoupler unless you put a fuel line from the top tank to the bottom one. Also, right click a tank to check fuel level individually - maybe they did both empty?

That should still work, are you sure you connected the two tanks directly?

Could you post a picture of the rocket in question?

No decouple. Simply took 2 large orange fuel tanks and the mos tpowerful large engine and lift off. Only uses 1 fuel tank?

Well aslong as your rocket is built like this..

Mainsail engine

it should work, the top tank will drain first and then the bottom tank. If this doesnt happen it sounds like a bug?

Ah, seeing your join date, I guess you must be talking about the really older versions. I think what you mean, is that in the older versions, the fuel tanks showed up individually in the staging tab, and when you used up the first icon, it would be grayed out and switch to the new one! The game flow changed, now, both of your fuel tanks will show up in the same "fuel bar", they won't be grayed out one after the other You can right click the fuel tanks to verify, you'll see that both are depleted
