How will IVA work on this? normally I do a "control from here" then switch to IVA for whatever pod I want to be in. Will the Hitchhiker be made a command pod?

You'll have their little picture in the bottom right, and from there you can click IVA I guess.

I hope they do. Would allow for more mission designs. I modded it that way and I couldn't go back.

No, that's where the food is. The emergency snacks are in the cabinet labeled "Not Food" because you don't want hungry kerbals finding your snacks. So you put them someplace else and deceptively label them.

Nonsense. Snack cabinets have always been prominently labelled. The hitchiker can is sans snacks. My initial assertion stands; There will be trouble from this.

I hope not. It wouldn't make sense if it was. It's a module for Kerbals to relax, not control the ship or whatever. Think of it as a Crew Quarters.

Though I wish someone made a smaller sized Habitation Module for standard sized rockets. I need one for my little Planet-to-Cruise Ship rocket.

As a temporary fix, you could always dig into the files, copy the Hitchhiker one, copy/paste it, and cut its values in half.

I would say they should start a union to fix this, but they would end up negotiating for lower wages instead.
