Kerbal evolution?

(I suggest you read this may sound crazy before reading this)

Ok one of life's hardest questions....... How did kerbals evolve? So all we know about kerbals so far is

1.they are green-ish

2.they are spongy

3.and they have big heads

So tell me your opinions

I got this idea from an enter Elysium series called kerbal rising

I believe Kerbals evolved from reptiles of some sort.
