What's the first thing you did with the new patch?

Succession:

-Stared in awe at the new space center view.

-Stared in awe at the new building interiors.

-Took the Aeris A3 (Is that it's name?) for a ride and accidentally crashed into the ground control tower.

-Went back to the forums to discover an ongoing gunfight about the new ASAS.

-Made a small orbiter with an offcenter RTG for power.

-The whole rocket flipped over.

-Stared in awe at the epic explosion with more FPS.

-Couldn't even make it to orbit with the new ASAS.

-Got bored of playing stock.

-Ragequit.

Next time I'll be back with a huge load of mods, that Duna base isn't gonna land all by itself! :)

I decided to finally buckle down and get halfway decent at the game. So I finally put a probe-lander on the Mun without assistance. Can't go killing Kerbals willy-nilly now.

I am crazy-grateful for Kerbal Engineer Redux and a delta-v map. Just started using them. I might actually start building functional rockets now.

Well, I tested the new ASAS via the tutorial (several of which have mysteriously disappeared). Waited a while for a MechJeb fix, then began my space program from scratch!

The first step was exploring the new space center, then getting down to business and putting up a bunch of these:

After which point, I got Jeb into orbit to scout for Space Krakens.

Then sent what I belive to be the first probe to Dres since the 0.21 update!

Started messing around with the new 2.5m adapters, and made a nifty orbiter that uses a single rockomax tank and two NERVA engines on a bicoupler adapter. Tried sending it up along with it's accompanying lander, but the height of the NERVAs combined with the lander made the rocket too unstable even with extra reaction wheels (figured this out by just sending the orbiter up alone). Oh well, guess I'll just send them separately and dock them in Kerbol orbit :)

Every new version, I start over from scratch; the first flight is always a pod with chute on top of the smaller 1m SRB. Wherever it lands I used to just abandon the pod and leave it there; since .20 I'm planting a "First Flight" flag there instead.

I only had about twenty minutes to play around with it after release today, so I just put together a pretty basic orbiter and sent Jeb, Bill, and Bob on a brief orbital excursion, then landed them safely at KSC. This was the first mission performed by my new space agency, Fiat Lux Corporation. Tomorrow night I'll start setting up satellite networks.

I managed to get Bob, Bill and Jebediah to the Mun and back. Well, Bill didn't get to land on the Mun as it was an Apollo-esque mission, save for the fact it was a Single Stage lander module.

Everything worked pretty good though. Even landed within walking distance to the KSP complex. I'll eventually get around to posting my video. :)
