okay people, i request a battle!

here, we see a Griselbrand-class corvette in Orbit around Pol, however, If you want to engage this ship, I am placing forward a few rules

1.the part count of your ship/s must be equal or less than the Griselbrands (288) with an acceptable error of 10 parts

2.you cannot engage the ship immediately after placement, instead, the first shooter is decided by a dice roll (i'll find a site)

3.corvettes, small frigates and fighters are allowed

4.any player can accept the challenge

5.to permit smooth framerates, ships cannot be within 1.5km of each other

6.unconventional weaponry is allowed, if not, recommended

I look forward to what lies ahead

it's called the "Thraben", one A and one E

also, is the cannon done with engine exhausts, like in Danny2462's videos or with a multitude of decouplers

It's funny how you mention a random youtuber concerning cannons when Commrade Jenkins and I actually use cannons on our ships. (Actual cannons, not self-propelled missiles like in this pic)

as far as I am concerned, you cannot have "proper" cannons on a ship, there aren't any decouplers that provide a powerful enough force to severely damage a ship without mods, i.e.the railgun mod however

Danny2462's "cannon" was two engines placed on opposite sides, the velocity of the projectile was provided by the exhaust from any two of the engines like here

I have managed to replicate the effect, but it isn't very reliable

A video I made months ago for the ship I submitted to Macey's series. It's very old, so I consider it a prototype, but it's still a proof of concept.

I miss a lot in this video because I had no proper aiming system. I was trying to line up the target diamond with the nozzle by feel. xD

that's pretty much the described effect, i've managed to make a cannon that actually dealt damage albeit not much, with my cannon, I make a broadside shot on a Murderer

admittedly, its not much but it works to a degree and I might improve on it and use it as a replacement to the Thrabens existing SRB rockets

so, about the challenge/battle

My weapons don't even work at that insane range. O_o

And you'll notice that battles are never just two ships shooting missiles. There's a lot of strategy involved.

Very similar specs to the forth and final attempt at the Scythe,probably with the exception of fuel.

-4 nukes 2 LV-45s

-117 tons(Perfect)

-6 SRBs G-rods are planned to be installed

-About 60% finished.

How do you rate how good armor is or do you just slap a random number on?

1-slapping panels here and there

2-strips of armor branching from a single point

3-armor branching in arcs from a low impact central 'spine'

4-armor branching in arcs from a high impact spine
