Have any mods been added to be part of the game?

I'm seeing a lot of mods for better graphics and really cool parts that arn't in the game. Is there any chance they would be added? It feels to me this game is incomplete until you mod it to your liking and I don't want to install mods because then I feel like i'm not playing the "real" game. I didn't buy KSP too long ago and found out that the game was released to the public in 2011. It's 2013 now and the game is still not complete so updates must have been really slow. I'd be great if a developer could touch on this.

KSPX parts have been added to the game because the creator now works for the team. Another modder was responsible for the updated VAB and SPH buildings

I believe the guy who made Ferram Aerospace now workd for Squad, so we can expect something like it when they get around to improving the aerodynamics.

Better than just yanking mods, they have actually hired several of the really excellent modders!

A source would be nice. Or, official confirmation.

But this would be awesome! His mod had so many detailed readouts.

The main reason I didn't keep the mod was it mucked up the data from other mods, which expected the old drag model.

of the top of my head, I remember there was much celebration after that plugin that one guy made that would slow down time if the game lagged was incorporated into the game

Most of the plane parts were from a mod called C7 Aerospace which were added in 0.15.
