[0.25]KSP Interstellar (Magnetic Nozzles, ISRU Revamp) Version 0.13

To get rid of the "deprived" message and to generate MegaJoules with the experimental version on 24.2 I had to delete the old WarpPlugin folder AND the old Open Resource System folder before extracting the experimental version.

It won't generate MegaJoules when a transceiver is connected directly to the top of the generator, it took me a while to find that one out.

WavefunctionP, just downloaded your update and everything seems to be working with the reactors so far, but when i scroll over the 2.5 and 3.75 meter fusion reactors in the vab tab to select them, the picture expands until it takes up the whole screen then disappears, but still lets me select it. This used to happen with the 2.5 meter refinery but was fixed in the previous version of interstellar i was using. Not a big issue, just wanted it to be known.

Edit: I tested them in sandbox and they worked, but the reactors wont work in my career save. I may have messed up the config file as i adjusted the costs to afford them, also I switched from fractalUK's latest interstellar to wavefunctionP's if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

So with Fractal's 11 version, (in 64bit) everything works, and the power is switched on on the reactors, -but-the science labs fall through whatever they touch;

and on Waves' update, the sci labs dont fall, but the reactors dont work.

I was even dumb enough to try mixing the two versions, to see if adding some folders with others might result in a bingo, but as you'd expect, nothing worked, hehe.

Damned, .24 is a real headache for the modders out there, it seems. Who would've thought 64bit would bring such chaos

It's weird to me that it is; I ran 23.5 in 64-bit unity without issue (aside from some . . . "interesting" side effects with Kerbal Attachment System), but then again I am no coder, so I don't understand what was changed in .24

possible bug Hi all, running current patch of both KSP and interstellar, I wanted the first video on this page made by Scott, tried to build the science center he build, the one on the launch pad, anyway when you place it all together, the engine crashes right through the craft... not working, can someone try and tell me if im having moments please. PS the mod is brilliant!

OK. This actually worked for me. Megajoules are being generated. Wasteheat is being generated and dissipated. Power is being transmitted. Vista engines are firing and working properly.

For some reason I thought that you had to merge the experimental build.

So, if you are having issues with the experimental build, make sure you delete the old WarpPlugin folder and the OpenResourceSystem folders before installing.

Are your reactors generating electrical power and so on as well? They don't show fuel deprived messages when you right click on them? Because I've got the latest experimental version and the reactors still aren't working. A thermal rocket attached to one will make engine noises, but no actual thrust.

Looking at solar power stations it looks like it isn't just reactors. Nothing seems to be generating waste heat or megajoules even with loads of deployed solar arrays.

I tried it in my career mode. I couldn't try the electric generators yet as I haven't unlocked them. When I used the thermal rocket it produced thrust, I saw it take off. It didn't go far as It was a test but it lifted off and promptly landed. I believe I'm running the x64 client on my pc. For my install i didn't use the open resource system included in the zip. I had downloaded it separately prior I believe from the developer of that mod.

It's easy to tell if you're running x64 or not. On the main menu screen of KSP in the bottom right corner it will say "(x64 bit)" if you're running it, and it wont list it (wont even say "32bit") if it's the 32 bit version.

No I guess it is 32 bit I take that back. It doesn't say x64 bit on the bottom even though it's an x64 bit pc. Well I'm not reinstalling the game for x64. I'm leaving well enough alone lol

That did the trick - everything's running fine with the experimental build now. I'd installed it over the top of the old folders before. Thanks everyone!

Nothing in the folder is optional. The entire contents must be installed in order for interstellar to function. I recommend deleting the previous folders before installing to avoid issues, especially coming from vanilla interstellar. And certainly before posting an "issue".

... No need to reinstall, just click KSP_x64.exe

Confirmed!! I deleted the warp plugin and open resource folders, and only replaced them with those exact same two folders from waves' experimental update, and now i have power generating once again!...AND the sciencelab doesnt cave in!

And i am most DEFINITLY running the 64 bit version.

Great stuff Wave, we all owe you big time for giving us our happy fun time back!

Been having some issues trying to get the Seismic Accelerometer to work correctly. It only gives "Log Seismic Data" and i can no longer try to record data for impacts. What's up with that?

I had this happen to me too, reinstalling fixed it.

Wanted to add confirmation, broken for me as well. :(

Does anyone have that zip downloaded who could mirror it on their dropbox etc. accounts? Kind of do a pseudo-torrent?
