  1. FAR seems to badly break my game :/ The ModularFlightIntegrator folder somehow disables some of the UI buttons, like "Exit to Main Menu", "Launch Vessel", and clicking the VAB, SPH, and Tracking Station. When I take it out I can access everything, and it doesn't seem to be affected by the Ferram Aerospace folder. KSP.log
  2. I had it working with ATM on my last install, so I'm not sure what's different. I followed those steps but it's just too big to run it without crashing.
  3. I recently had to reinstall all of my mods (new computer), and I'm having this really weird issue that I can't really figure out with this mod in particular. The clouds on all the planets except for Eve look wrong, and I was hoping you could help fix it. I made sure that I followed the installation directions correctly. I love your mod, and I've never had this issue before. Here's my output log:
  4. Okay, I guess that I just didn't wait long enough. How long should it take? I literally waited 30 minutes before stopping the program. As to the mods, they should all be up-to-date because I just did a clean install and updated all of them.
  5. Okay, thanks! Two questions: 1) Could that really cause my game to freeze at the exact same file every time? 2) How do I do that?
  6. The loading screen always freezes at a certain file (the name escapes me right now), and the memory hasn't run out because it's at 1.7 gigs. Output log Edit: I started it again and the file was TextureReplacer/Default/kerbalHelmetNRM
  7. For now, most people use PF:CE, but it has a boatload of bugs that crash the game. People are actively working on figuring out how to make Kopernicus work, which will fix all of the bugs and allow for less memory usage.
  8. It's a bug with mechjeb. It really doesn't like it when you leave the kerbol system.
  9. There's no way to change the SOI directly, it's calculated as the region where Kerbol's gravity is stronger than the black hole's. This is the reason that Moho's SOI is so much smaller than Eeloo's, even though they are basically the same size. What you CAN do is move Kerbol into a higher orbit around the black hole.
  10. Is it possible to edit moon systems with a MM config at the moment?
  11. Instead of having the colors defined in the config, you should add a temperature line to the stars, and then the plugin would use an algorithm like the one on here to generate the RGB values. It could look like this: CelestialBody { Temperature = 5000 Blah Blah Blah }
  12. Semi-relevant here: When I get a sizeable distance from the black hole (about 19,000 Tm IIRC), I get the NaN Kraken without fail.
  13. Oh, medsouz, you should add something to the configs so we can change the orbit colors of the stars. You could also add a line of two to the PF configs to do the same thing.
  14. There aren't any inherent incompatibilities with Interstellar, except for a weird bug where you can't drop out of warp near Dolas as far as I'm aware of. All of my interstellar stuff works fine. Are you using the latest version?
  15. I'm so glad that you guys have taken this so far! Hopefully once the PF:CE planets get ported over I can finally ditch that mod and do stuff with them that it wouldn't let me do, like create custom biomes and add resources. Also, the repository mentions that you guys've added preliminary support for star creation. In the future, do you think this mod will be able to do the same things that StarSystems does, like making solar panels work and having different colors?
  16. Will future updates add compatibility with asteroids? I'm not sure exactly how the game generates the asteroids, but it should be feasible since Squad uses the asteroid generator to put stranded Kerbals in orbit around Kerbin. You could let things like orbit and density be changeable with a config around our stars.
  17. How much does the new configs let you change? I have a set of planets around my own star that I have set up in a particular way, so how would you customize the orbits?
  18. I'm so glad that this mod didn't die! Other than that little bit of information, I made up some new descriptions for Corbo and Dolas that I think are more stock-esque: Dolas: BodyDescription = This white dwarf is much more dense than Kerbol. Kerbal astronomers theorize that it used to look like Kerbol long ago, but it eventually shrunk down into its current size when it ran out of fuel. Some of its old planets may still orbit the ghost star. Be careful though, they could be haunted. Corbo: BodyDescription = Even though Corbo is barely observable from Kerbin, it is larger and more massive than Kerbol. Red supergiants such as this one are said to be near the end of their very short lives, ready to go supernova any minute. Maybe it isn't such a good idea to go here.
  19. I found a minor compatibility issue with interstellar. The Jaw and the tanks don't draw power from reactors. As a quick fix, I added a battery because they draw electric charge from it, and the reactors will power the battery.
  20. That's too bad. I guess give 'em some time. Also, is the reshuffling of planets optional? I have my own star system with some planets like the sentar extension, and I'd like them to stay there.
  21. Awesome! I'm glad to see that you're not letting this die. I can do bug reporting for you when I get the chance. Like now. When you launch a ship towards another star without warp drive, and you switch to another ship still in the kerbol system, the Kraken tends to attack the ship in orbit around the black hole. Kinda annoying when you're launching probes for all of that sweet, juicy science. And Kopernicus support would be better, IMO. Also, you said in the post that you're going to be automatically moving PF planets like Sentar to around Dolas. Is there a way to make this optional? I have them in orbit around my own custom star already.
  22. I know a little C/C++, but I don't have nearly enough time to help you with anything. There's a great website that teaches you to program for free. You basically get assignments that are desgined to teach you concepts, and you have to go through them and turn them in to go on. They will be graded and perfected by their excellent community of programmers. You should check it out: exercism.io I see a lot of potential for StarSystems and Kopernicus, maybe give their dev team a call?
  23. @Fractal_UK, do we have an ETA on Karbonite support? I'd like to be able to use it with thermal rockets and such.
