I could certainly benefit from it, crashing when it reached a software limit is pretty frustrating..but in an unrelated note..where could I find a link to that inflatable module that you uploaded a while ago?

I kind of don't care what my memory is, if it runs the game at anything greater than 24 FPS, i'm happy. if it can get higher, Great.

KSP often crashes because of memory limitations though. FPS is not the only thing that you should pay attention to.

My 1.3Ghz AMD E-300 processor is definitely the piece of garbage holding me back.

I've got some abacuses you can borrow.

4 GB currently, but experiencing out-of-memory issues when running Firefox on the second monitor etc.

Ordered an upgrade to 8 GB, though, which will be around 200 Euros. Need 2x4GB DDR2-800 for that, since my board only has two DDR2 slots. But that [email protected] is still going strong, so I don't like to upgrade to a new mainboard/cpu/ram combo yet.

Well my gaming machine has 16GB RAM and GTX 560 GPU but it has slow CPU, so i run KSP on my work laptop wich has only 8GB RAM, and Nvidia qadro 3000M GPU (wich is hardly a gaming graphic card), but has 8-core I7 cpu, and KSP runs much smooter than on my gaming PC.

That leads me to conclusion that most important thing for playing KSP is CPU. Not RAM or GPU.
