.21 - is KSC2 gone?

Hey there, didn't know where to put this, so I'm asking here.

Ever sense .21 went live I've been trying to find the second Kerbal Space Center again and despite knowing about where it should be, I can't seem to find it. I'm wondering if the major geography changes in the area lead to the removal of the base.

No it's not gone, I heard it clipped a bit through the ground, not every building of it but most of it.

It's still in the same spot but the terrain around it has changed a lot. It's no longer in a weird, sunken "K".

It's not gone, and it's only clipped if you are using the lowest terrain detail settings. I launched something from there last night even.

Is the KSC on an island in front of primary KSC?

Nope, KSC II is still there it was, it's just harder to find ,because terrain around changed.

No, that's just the island runway. KSC2 used to be the location of the space center in (much) earlier releases. And when it was moved to where it is now (next to the sea), the devs just kept the old one where it was as an Easter-egg thing. It doesn't do anything but the old buildings are still there (without the tracking station, SPH, or runway because they weren't in the game yet).

I don't suppose someone could post a screen shot of where it is in relation to things now, I keep thinking I could at least see the launch pad from the air but I'm not having much luck with that.

Being a bit OCD here, but there is a tracking station at the old KSC.

Err, actually the current location of KSC was where it always was, at least in public versions.

I have a copy of 0.8.0, and a quick test shows that the old space center was next to the ocean. Also, I think the tracking station in KSC 2 is clipped in a mountain (if it wasn't uncovered by terrain changes).

I hope they leave the KSC in, or add all the pre-0.21 buildings, it would be cool because it would be a reminiscence of days past for the long time players!

Making them look a little shabby and run-down would give the old "nostalsgic" feeling.

Yes. I forget which update removed the runway. Wish it was still there.
