Wing design help

Okay so I've seen all these great space planes in here. One thing I notice with all of them is there wings are always perfect. Not one piece is sticking up or not level with its neighbor. Am I missing something or do I just need a lot more patients? Whenever I build a wing it's always lumpy and all over the place. Is there a mod that helps with leveling the pieces or does it just take time to get good at it?

Also this should be in the "Gameplay questions" thread just for further reference :)

Anyway all I can say is it takes time and practice to get plane building mechanics down, I've been playing KSP since .18 and still have not figured out how to build a stable aircraft, be patient and practice practice and practice some more. Also be prepaired to lose a few Kerbals in testing :P

still have not figured out how to build a stable aircraft

If you mean stable as in wings not wobbling all over the place, use the knowledge of wise men of old two/tri-plane design has never failed me yet :)

If you mean stable as in not flipping/spinning out of control... well... i build my planes like a letter T with horizontal bar of T being the wings in the back of vehicle. Then i slap some winglets on the nose, and add very small wings(no control surface on those) in mid-hull for stability.

You have to get the angles just right and have alot of patience and try from different angles with and without angle snap.

I dont know if you know about shift+wasd to rotate the parts just by a few degrees at a time?

You can build the wing while it's sticking up vertically from the spine of the plane, where it's easier to see exactly what you're doing, and you don't get funky connection angles. Then turn on symmetry and move it to the side.
