Transporting Rovers and what not around inside of planes?

I have Kethane, B9 and KAS installed into my game and I am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to transport my mining rovers across kerban without braking them. Have been trying the stock transport that came with b9 but couldn't get my rover inside of it, can anybody help me out with this (explanation or video please)

I'd say that the easiest way is to stick them on top of a rocket and use sub-orbital flights. Loft them up, jettison the rocket at the right time, then parachute them down.

Probably will break stuff, you need some kinds of rockets to slow things down. 10ms is way too fast.

I have heard people transport them in the back of a plane, could i just use KAS in some way to do it perhaps?

I would prefer to use a plane as at least I could return it then and transport it around easier.

Build a frame with a docking port or KAS winch at the top, then build a plane around that. You can drive your rover under the plane, then use landing legs or KAS to pull it up, or just retract the planes gears. Then you can transport it around freely (don't forget to lock the KAS winch).

I've been using arms made with this mod to lift things out of the B9 cargo bays.

This plane has a drilling unit inside and separate rover in it docked to the floor.

I have made a plane that can transport 3 rovers and can make it to the north pole and back i will upload it as soon as i do one last test run.

I had a plane back in 0.20 that used the S2 Wide-Body cargo bay to transport a pretty big car. Try that. Unless its really that big.

Or just lander legs to take the rover's wheels off the ground. Also serves as a kerbal-proof parking brake!
