What is "CoD" and "Minecraft"? 10 here. 11 In the October thought.

Wow you don't know what Call of Duty or Minecraft is or was that sarcasm lol?

Also, may I ask why everyone assumed they're smarter than other folk their age because they play KSP as opposed to CoD etc.?

I play CoD more than KSP, and I'm due for the Army Medical Corps next year, I wouldn't say I'm dumb

I didn't assume they were dumb, just younger. I have met a few CoD players my age, and I have played it as well at points. However that doesn't change the fact that it mostly consists of a younger generation with a "give me" attitude. I also can't see how someone that is older could keep buying the same exact game from year to year as they have experience to know better than wasting money :). I still have CoD 4 and play it online on occasion, and looking/playing the newer versions they are almost identical with the exception of different guns and maps.

Every generation thinks itself smarter than the last one and wiser than the next one. Thus it has always been, thus it shall always be.

I used to have a nice little weblink to an article that showed how various newspapers and magazines from a span of over a century all had articles along the lines of "Today's youth is ruining the world by being lazy and selfish!", but I seem to have misplaced it.

I'm surprised by how many teens there are. I would expect more adults to play this game, given the fact that it's all about physics, space, and things that only someone with a college degree could understand; although, granted, I am a teen and have not yet gone to college. :sticktongue:

The distribution of ages for people who respond "yes" to "do you have enough free time" would probably be similar.

Also, as they say, How hard can rocket science be anyways?!
