What do you hate most about the game? (What do you like most about the game?)

Legendary Emu

Hate: Rovers get zero traction on anything. I tried to drive several miles on Minmus, and my opinion of it was "never again"

Love: Seeing Jool. Performing orbital maneuvers to meet Bop. Accidently landing on Eve after my cousin forgot to switch the nuclear engine off. Being in the wrong orbit around Duna, undocking the reentry module, and performing an emergency landing with a ship designed for Kerbin.

Cant mount round bodies to flat surfaces (try to put a fuel tank against a structural plate)

That thing is due to how surface attach nodes are handled. You see, every radially-attachable part has a surface attach node. This node determines on what place the part-to-be-radially-attached is bolted down. It is possible to modify tanks to be able to be attached jutting out, but that would make it impossible to place them correctly when making boosters.

My own love-hates:

LOVE:

Most parts of this game

All the awesome mods

Explosions

Hate:

Only 32bit.

Loading times in .21

Other annoying bugs

That's just more of a problem of realistic physics, I think. In low gravity, there is much less force holding you to the ground, so of course there is much less traction. My first Munar lander was in fact a rover (why bother ever sending a stationary lander when it is not much extra trouble to just put wheels on it and make it a rover instead? That was my logic, at least.) Anyway, oh boy, was it dangerous to drive- I had the center of gravity way too high for the weak Munar gravity.

I redesigned my rover, placing the center of gravity much closer to the ground, and it was a HUGE improvement- it was MUCH easier to drive around and MUCH harder to flip.

Under the weakest gravities though, like Minimus, if you want something for exploring the surface, it really just becomes easier and safer to fly around on little sub-orbital hops from spot to spot, rather than actually trying to drive anywhere.

Top Like: It's an effing incredible game.

My favourite movie as a kid was The Right Stuff, and my favourite scene was the failed rocket tests, so this game feels tailor-made for me. It's the game that I've been waiting for my entire gaming life(once the wrinkles are ironed-out...), and the one that all others will inevitably fail to live up to.

Top Dislike: Instability. WHY THE HECK IS IT 32-BIT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

It's like sticking Michael Schumacher in a Pinto.

Love building insanely big and complex self-sustainable things in crazy places.

Love the mods that allow it and make it so interesting.

Hate 32bit, single-thread physics and other pre-2000's tech...

Hate when a very cool mod is abandoned by its creator without license, or with a restricted one. ;.;

The performance lag. Unless you have an incredible PC, this game runs with a really slowly. The game is such a resource hog for reasons unbeknownst to me. Probably because it's running the entire solar system continuously all the time. That's a lot for my little PC to handle.
