How do I mark a thread Answered?

I'm sure this is in here somewhere but I'll be danged if I can find it anywhere!!

Once a thread I've posted has been answered, HOW do I MARK it answered!!

This is driving me nutz!! .....And YES I expect to face/palm once I get the obvious answer!

Edit your initial post, it'll have the Answered/Unanswered drop-down in there.

(You will have to hit "Edit Post" then "Go Advanced" to get that option, by the way.)

Ok, how do I mark a question answered under the new forum system since mid-2015?

This was broken over the weekend, but should be working now. You should be able to select one of the replies as "best answer", which will mark the thread as answered.

Thanks, I thought I was going crazy because I thought I'd done it before and now couldn't find any clue as to how to do it.
