I can dock! Now how do I undock?

Alright I can dock and I have undocked but now it seems that every time I try to undock it doesn't seem to want to let go. Can someone tell me whats going on and how to fix it.

Are you using the default docking nodes?

Well the first time it happened was with a dragon capsule but it has happened with default.

If you are using the stock docking ports you should be able to undock by right clicking the docking port and it will say "Undock."

You may also need to apply some type of reverse thrust (RCS thrusters) to put some space between your space vehicles.

Yeah when I right click it says undocked and when I try to use rcs thrusters it won't work and I can't switch between ships so I tried time warp to see if they drift apart and they don't.

Can you post a few pictures so we can see what you're working with? Have you tried exiting the game completely and reloading it?
