  1. Great stuff Mazon Del and yes endersmens is creating a website here.
  2. This seems to work, however it's not as intuitive and a little overcomplicated in my opinion.
  3. Well I haven't looked but I'd say ~1-2m funds just using the method you described. However if we take a more realistic approach no more than 250,000f considering spacecraft are a depreciating asset. I mean sure fresh right on the launch pad it's a 100,000f rocket but eventually the science instruments are useless therefore worthless or it runs out of fuel and what good is a craft you can't maneuver. So I have about 200,000-250,000f worth of assets in space.
  4. Yeah I got that. It appears to be AIES parts problem. I had just completely removed FAR to test and the problem still persisted, so not FAR's fault in anyway.
  5. Thanks I resolved it, more or less, what was happening is something seems to be wrong with AIES parts as it only seems to happen when I use those parts. Anyway I thought it might be FAR because I installed AIES a week or two ago but never used until now which happens to be after installing FAR.
  6. Does anyone else have a problem with SAS after installing? After I installed FAR if I have SAS on it starts oscillating gradually picking up speed. I thought it might be do to the flight help thing(LVL, Yaw, pitch) but there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it so I don't know. Strange thing is that it really only starts in orbit, there is a slight movement on ascent but when I'm in orbit my ship becomes almost uncontrollable flipping around and stuff until I turn SAS off. I'll post a mod list but I'm certain it started after installing FAR. 7. "Everything was working a minute ago."
  8. I enjoy when an unexpected disaster happens and a kerbal dies, I don't kill them on purpose though.
  9. What have we decided on? Also I think we need a group of core people to work on this and make decisions. It can still be largely open source but have a group of people that just push it forward in a timely matter.
  10. That's actually a pretty good one jebbe.
  11. Haha, yeah unfortunately Windows 8 is not the greatest.
  12. That's very true. Haha yeah reminds of this though http://www.numberworld.org/misc_runs/pi-10t/details.html
  13. I'm a programmer but since playing ksp I've been researching physics a lot more. I enjoy math and physics especially theoretical stuff and paradoxes and started wondering if there are any programming paradoxes. If not could a programming paradox even exists considering we can just tailor things to are needs were in space and time we can't. I've done some research and come up empty the only thing close to a paradox can't really be considered a paradox in a traditional sense. Which is "The Singularity" in where computers and machines can upgrade and build newer and better versions of themselves and would it eventually get to perfection where it can't upgrade because there's nothing beyond perfection thus creating a perfect computer.
  14. So I go to launch a new satellite I use my standard launcher everything is going fine and then. A full scale investigation is going into this, most people suspect the Kraken however.
  15. Wow, 11.7 years to complete this mission according to the MET in the second to last image. Impressive work really enjoyed this.
  16. Yeah when I right click it says undocked and when I try to use rcs thrusters it won't work and I can't switch between ships so I tried time warp to see if they drift apart and they don't.
  17. Well the first time it happened was with a dragon capsule but it has happened with default.
  18. Alright I can dock and I have undocked but now it seems that every time I try to undock it doesn't seem to want to let go. Can someone tell me whats going on and how to fix it. 19. No real interference but with each launch I'll see one piece of debris fly overhead at 50Km to even 5Km. There have been some close ones though at about 800m nothing scary though, oddly however I've come closer to hitting satellites in orbit then debris closest one was about 150m.
  20. Something that just happened that made me realize why I love this game. So I usually use mechjeb for rendezvous and usually docking sometimes when it gets in close I'll finish it up. However recently I started doing things manually just acsents and landings stuff like that but mechjeb was there when I needed to rendezvous and dock. But tonight that all changed... I've been testing a new lifter to do crew transfers in LKO one with a much smaller profile than before. So I've launched some into orbit and landed them to come up with the safest and most efficient thing I could come up with. So tonight I redesigned the first stage engines and sent her on her way I get into an orbit and called it pretty good about to time warp to the other side so I could come down over KSC I look over and see a marker 100Km out so I go into the map view and realize I launched for a perfect rendezvous with my station. So now I decide I'm going to dock but not my normal docking, no I'm going manual I start my attempt (I did an almost ChickenKeeper24 rendezvous) Closest approach 2.5km, alright that's great I think as I hit the timewarp. As I came to that 2.5Km mark I did what I had seen mechjeb do so many times before started burning towards it. 2Km I rotate my ship around and prepare to match velocities, at 1.8Km I realize inclination is off by 0.5 so I match velocities pitch up and burn to match inclination and perfect I start my approach again. 1km at this point it's setting in I'm 1Km out and dropping my arm muscles start to tense up almost to the point where I thought I might need to abort but realizing I had come this close I wasn't willing to give up. 500 meters it's then that I think that I have made an error as this ship is not technically ready for services which meant no RCS except what was on the ship (Dragon Rider) so it wasn't well balanced at all but I wasn't about to quit. 250 meters I start a small burn to match velocities it starts to get hard to control the ship as I'm nearly shaking with anticipation and fear. 50 meters I stop my burn and turn on the RCS pick a target and start heading towards it and to no surprise my first attempt fails but I slow down and come back in from the other side. 10 meters the light RCS taps are getting harder to control they aren't balanced and I can't feel my hand at this point I'm not thinking I'm just doing. As I come in I avoid a near collision with a solar panel 5 meters or less the ports are right there I'm now effortlessly gliding at the port despite my hand cramping and then... The magnet takes over however I don't think the dragon rider has a strong magnet so it starts swaying around and I try to control with RCS burst in opposite directions it continues so I decide to let it run its course. The game freezes just for a second, just enough time for me to realize before seeing that I had docked and for the first time since deciding to do this a total of 20 minutes I felt my heart beat and my lungs filled with air, I felt like the guys at NASA when curiosity landed except I just sat there motionless at what I had just accomplished when it was all over I was almost in tears it felt like. Never before has a video game made me feel this when I succeed and I doubt any game will again. Perhaps a boring and mundane thing for others but a first and very exciting thing for me.
  21. Testing the dragon rider to see if it can land in an atmosphere without parachutes and external engines. Unfortunately I forgot the solar panels. And could not kill the engines.
  22. Testing out a new manned launch vehicle so I can make something more efficient. Billy-Bobbert had to abort three times until the engineers figure out the fuel line were messed up. Walking back to the KSC after third abort.
