how do you see the members of a crew that arent in the command module, but are in a storage container?

3 threads within 15 minutes? You should rather use the search function, actually post questions in the gameplay questions section, not to mention create just one thread and post all your questions in it.

To answer you question, click map then there are two icons to the right, click the kerbal icon.

Do you even have Kerbals in the pods?

If so, they should be in the crew portraits (there should be a little grey arrow to see more Kerbals).
