A thing or two about wings ...

Hi everyone.

I thought about something while trying to make a plane (that actual flyes well).

The fuel in real planes are stored in the wings no ?

and to think that there is only intakes, a cooler, and the so called engines (which are just infact the output of it) it would make more sens too add a part that acts as an engine with a certain capacity which is relative to the intakes and outputs on the plane.

And for the plane wings... well we should be able to draw them live. I mean exept for big airplanes like boing's you can't expect to see it bend like they do right now.

So what do you think ?

Wings can't hold fuel because of something in the CFG files.

The entire airplane system will get an overhaul once an aerodynamic update comes along. However, I wouldn't expect it now since they're working on the career aspect of the game.

Wings can contain fuel,because of the modul system.

All you have to do is to edit the .CFG file.

I know that you would want it to be stock,but for now you can alway do that!

PS:warning,the wing will be somewhat heavier after you add fuel to it,it could break you planes.

The engines are weird, it should be one module with the intake the cooler/structure part and "engine" as one part. Or you could rename the round intake to compressor first stage, the structure part to core, and the "engine" part to exhaust/afterburner. Either way, I think this is planned anyway.
