A smiley face under kerbin's oceans?

So i'm looking at a high-res map of kerbin for an upcoming animation, when i notice something under the ocean.

do you see it? it's directly south of the space center.

I wonder if anyone else noticed it...

Clearly, it's the Kraken. Its smile remains, while we continue to sacrifice. It is only when things become efficient, well planned and managed, built properly and 2/3 to 95% of a completed mission that it becomes dissatisfied with the lack of sacrifice and loses the smile right before its fast, violent rampage.

I remember when I my own high-res topographic map of Kerbin a while back, one of my first thoughts was "ok, who drew a big smiley under the ocean?"

It was placed there in 0.18. My gut tells me it was put there because one of the devs expressed a mild annoyance at the fact that people were finding the artefacts left and right because of ISA mapsat during 0.17
