Before I'm accosted with "necro!, NECRO! OMG, NNNEEEECCCRRRROOOO!!" and other such comments from over-zealous moderator-school drop-outs, I was about to say exactly the same thing as the OP, so why start a new thread?

Anyway, I just rekindled an old flame after installing a Lunar Flight update, after which I thought to myself, in a perfect world KSP and Lunar Flight would have software-babies.

Sort of embarassing that I just caught up to trvtannenberg circa 2011...

Too bad in the trailer the lunar lander also takes off with the descent stage. Since the craft is Apollo style, it would be a closer approximation if the ascent vehicle separated from the descent stage. Otherwise it looks like an interesting game.

It looks interesting from the standpoint of mechanics of flight, but boy does it suck at realism... Stars on the sky and the complete disregard of vacuum conditions - it takes away so much from the whole experience.
