missing flags?

Hi. I have the latest KSP version, but i still cant see any flags? When i open the choose flag window, there are no items in it. I even followed a tutorial how to make a custom flag, and put it in GameData\Squad\Flags and i noticed that there are many default flags here, but in the game, i see none of them. I tried to click on the flag in the space center, and tried to assign a flag to a ship too, but the flags are always missing.

Have you done a default install? Does the folder have proper permissions on it for software to access data? Have you tried turning off virus scanners, sync agents (DropBox, G Drive, etc) or backup agents?

I had this problem when the path to the game contained non ascii characters....

You seem to have a problem with texture loading.

Even the command chair has no texture.

You could post the logs. (ksp.log in the default folder) we may be able to see if there is a texture it couldn't load.

Have you tried a fresh install of KSP?

Thank you, this was the problem! Originally I had the game folder on my desktop, but my windows username contains hungarian special characters, i guess that was the problem. I moved it to c:\games and now it works.

It was a fresh install btw, and i used no mods.
