Goliath MkII

My first (barely) flyable 'megaship'. You kind of need to turn down your graphics and resolution to keep the game above 1 FPS during the first two SRB stages. You also need to reduce your throttle to prevent the fuel tanks from swaying around into destruction - start with around 85%, reduce to around 50% when you leave the atmosphere and the columns begin swaying heavily.

What's with the 24 fuel tanks and 6 boosters you jettison at launch? Are those just there to keep it from falling over on the pad before ignition?

The 3 joints of the tri-couplings are too weak to support the upper section of the rocket and snap on the launch pad without additional support.

Anyone else having trouble with engines blowing up on the 3rd or 4th stage (hard to keep count). They start swaying real badly once you get above 40km and then they crash into eachother and explode, and of course the rocket goes out of control.

Like I said in the original post - you have to throttle down to keep the engines behaving. Sad but true!
