This mod is obsolete since 23.5

(Alt-F5 and Alt-F9 or linux equivalent now provide same functionality.)

This mod allows you to use multiple savegames.

Savegames can be managed from a simple menu which allows you to name, save, load and delete savegames.

Menu can be minimized.

Download on Kerbal Space Port

-brought saving behaviour in line with the now very relaxed saving rules of version 23.5

-made mod compatible with Kerbal Alarm Clock's backup saves. These saves can now be loaded and are placed at the end of the save list.

OH!!!!

You might want to edit the first post/name of mod..

Until you explained you were talking about quicksave I thought you meant multiple saves.

The game already supports multiple saves so I didn't see why to use your mod. But multiple quicksaves, that would be super handy. If I remember to quicksave.

Well, the game doesn't really support multiple saves. The only way to get a new "save" is to start a new game, and each game only has one save. I guess technically you can call that "multiple saves", but it's kinda odd to call it that imho... that's multiple games...

This was my understanding when picking the name. To me a save is one savegame instant. A quicksave to me is just such a save which you can do quickly, by the press of a button. This is how it works in other games where you have quicksaves, autosaves and the regular saves. So calling it 'multiple quicksaves' would be a misnomer to me because you do have to open a menu to access the option.

This is very nice and useful, but ideally the button position should be user-configurable rather than hard coded. I really should get back into programming for current stuff for KSP, but the last time I did any serious high-level programming was in the days of my Fidonet BBS ;) I'm sure with the relevant tools it's a fairly simple addition, especially since there are so many other plugins that have that functionality to rip the code from?

Could you possibly make it a toggle if you can quicksave in flight? I'd love to use that to practice, say, landings with aircraft.

Sorry, the previous version did allow that and I would have left it that way, but in the new version of KSP (.23) loading an inflight vessel leads to some mayor issues, like the vessel being deleted.
