Just to be clear, I won't lose my current ships that use the old version of KAS if I update, correct?As long as that older version is 0.4 or higher, you'll be fine. I guess that it's a thrust transform issue. I dunno If this can or will be fixed, but I for one would like to see what happens when you apply a rocket directly to a kerbal. I've taken a pack to install solar panels on a space station but I cannot interact with the pack once it's on the kerbal's back, I can only enter a structure and it will drop off and then I may interact with it but then, I still cannot interact with an item once it's in my Kerbal's possession. Whenever I do anything with the radial winch (extend cable, eject hook, etc) my throttle is instantly set to 0%. I tried using the GUI as well as action groups and the result is the same. I am trying to use a VTOL aircraft as kind of a skycrane thing so engine failure when I use my winch is no good Anyone run into this before? Solutions? Do I have to do something before being able to grab it? The fact that the ship on the ground was laying down horizontally maybe helped my kerbal reach it (in space i was in the same direction as the ship)?Please help me save Jebediah... My "workaround" has been to eject the connector, then fly to the end of the tether and grab the connector. Rather annoying, but it works. Be sure to retract the cable before bringing the refuelled ship out past physics distance, or the refueller sometimes randomly goes kaboom. If I place a stack connector, I can attach the winch port to it. I can't do this with the radial port, however.I'm trying to design a lander with a rover attached and I can do it with the stack but it's too big and bulky for a rover. I'd like to use the radial but it doesn't seem to work, even with clipping enabled. Seems to be an issue with the radial connector, the winches work fine with the stack connector and electromagnet. There is no reason not to.Oh really?I can THINK of SEVERAL REASONS as to WHY someone would NOT want to run 0.23 right now and would rather wait a few days before updating.All of the links (except the last) are each and every one a valid reason as to why i haven't tried 0.23 yet.So i too would like to find an older .22 compatible version of this mod.
