My 2nd Mun mission in .22 has just revealed some interesting information about the "Goo."

Rodson Kerman was climbing down to become the fourth Kerbal on another world. However, as he passed the Goo containers, he suddenly was pulled into the service module, right next to the Goo. Rodson immediately suffered severe muscle spasms, causing him to be abruptly thrown to the ground... along with two of the containers! On live television! The other two pilots reported that the whole ship "shuddered violently for at least 3 seconds." Once Rodson got back up, he kicked one of the containers for ruining his "big moment." The crazy thing exploded in a fire ball that engulfed the entire lander...

My top scientists say that the Goo is "extremely unstable", and that all personnel should keep a save distance from the containers at all times.

Well some games have an unusual material like XCOM has Elerium and C&C has tyberium maybe the goo in ksp is that vital plot element of a material.

So then it need a name... like KERBIDIUM,no no too generic... or Visciduim.Get it because its a viscous fluid or Limunium from the latin for slime,ah who am i kidding i have no ideas.

Since it is a mystery I think they are not using it to test conditions in space but to see what the heck it is. The Kerbals are just as confused by it as we are.

Goo = Apes and other primates.

So the Goo is the same was when we use to send monkeys and other animals into space.

Now we just have to watch out for KETG (Kerbals for the ethical treatment of Goo)

Am I the only one who thinks that the goo container eerily resembles the plot from 1988 horror movie The Blob? That was pretty much the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the description in the game.

A meteorite crashes near the town of Arborville, California; an elderly transient discovers, within the sphere, a jelly-like substance (the Blob) that attaches itself to his hand.

Later in the movie, even humans are trying to harvest some Science out of it...
